The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Flave swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Mac Cumhaill shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Mac Cumhaill has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Mac Cumhaill there as he acknowledges the shot.
Mac Cumhaill takes a swing at Flave's ribcage but misses.
Mac Cumhaill fails with an attempt to clinch.
Mac Cumhaill tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Flave was well out of range. Poor timing from Mac Cumhaill .
Mac Cumhaill takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Nice jab there from Flave.
Mac Cumhaill changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Flave tries to avoid it but Mac Cumhaill manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Flave to the ground. Flave escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Flave connects with a right hand. Mac Cumhaill shakes it off.
Mac Cumhaill bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Mac Cumhaill is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Flave.
Flave tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Mac Cumhaill was well out of range. Poor timing from Flave.
Mac Cumhaill uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Flave has time to react.
Flave lands a jab to the nose.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Flave lands a slapping body shot.
Mac Cumhaill tries to score a power double leg takedown but Flave sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Mac Cumhaill somewhat.

Flave lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Flave swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Flave displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Mac Cumhaill misses with a wild combination.
Mac Cumhaill closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Mac Cumhaill tries for a takedown but Flave sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Fionn Mac Cumhaill . That's going to take a lot out of him.
Flave misses with a wild body shot.
Flave throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Mac Cumhaill sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Mac Cumhaill will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
A telegraphed right hand from Flave misses the target.
Flave throws an overhand right that lands on Mac Cumhaill 's shoulder, as Mac Cumhaill tries to avoid the shot.
Flave throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Flave connects with a body shot.

Flave dives in and scores a takedown into Mac Cumhaill 's guard.
Flave passes Mac Cumhaill 's left leg - he's now in half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mac Cumhaill is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Flave frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Flave goes for an armbar but Mac Cumhaill turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Mac Cumhaill .

Flave has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Mac Cumhaill doesn't defend quickly enough and Flave has managed to lock this one up! Can Mac Cumhaill escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Flave on a fantastic submission victory.
