Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Franz Fuchs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Trine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Fuchs might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Fly me to the moon. Franz Fuchs is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Franz Fuchs! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Michael Trine! The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Shirou Masuda and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Trine throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Fuchs looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Trine is fending him off so far but Fuchs persists. Nope, Trine circles away and we're back to standing. Trine fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Trine throws the kick towards the body but Fuchs avoids it. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Trine.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Fuchs. Fuchs is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Trine has escaped the position, nice work there. Fuchs will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Trine is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Fuchs's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Fuchs is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Trine still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Trine has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work! Fuchs prevents Trine from improving position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fuchs sneaks back into half guard. Trine stands up out of the half guard. Fuchs shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Trine pinned against the cage. Trine gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Fuchs closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Trine to the mat! Trine manages to get full guard. Fuchs is breathing heavily. Trine has his foot on Fuchs's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Fuchs works his way back into a safe position though. Trine wants to sweep but no luck. Fuchs throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Trine trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Fuchs throws and elbow that misses. Trine uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Fuchs's guard. Nice move by Trine! Fuchs has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Trine can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Trine must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Trine trying to control the position from guard on top but Fuchs is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Fuchs bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Trine's guard. Fuchs stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Trine swivels though and keeps the full guard. Trine looking to control.
Fuchs wants to pass the guard but Trine is keeping the position. Fuchs postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Trine is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Fuchs, into his guard. Trine thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Trine avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Fuchs is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fuchs looking to hit a scissor sweep but Trine is one step ahead there. Fuchs has his foot on Trine's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Trine works his way back into a safe position though. Fuchs is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Trine stopping the sweep attempt from Fuchs. Fuchs is looking to sweep but instead, Trine has passed into half guard.
Fuchs is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Trine pulls his head out easily. Trine uses his free foot to push down on Fuchs's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Fuchs. Fuchs is in all sorts of trouble here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Trine controlling his opponent. Fuchs is squirming around, avoiding Trine's attempts to control the action. Fuchs can't escape the position.
Trine wants to control the pace but Fuchs is squirming around nicely. Fuchs keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Trine is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Fuchs has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Fuchs bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Franz Fuchs dominated that round. That's time! Fuchs's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Fuchs misses with a head kick.
Fuchs tries to keep at a distance but Trine has taken the fight into the clinch. Fuchs is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Trine breaks from the clinch.
A thudding body kick lands there by Trine!
Trine fails with the takedown and Fuchs counters with a nice double leg into guard. Trine is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Fuchs in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Trine is looking for a triangle but Fuchs pushes his legs off easily.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fuchs postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Trine is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Fuchs stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Trine swivels though and keeps the full guard. Trine manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Trine prevents Fuchs from getting the reversal. Fuchs sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Fuchs is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Trine's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Trine's back! Fuchs has his opponent's back and is working for the choke. Trine tries to escape but Fuchs has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fuchs lands a punch that was close to the back of the head but the ref thinks it's OK. Fuchs has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Trine has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Trine is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Trine controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position. Trine preventing the rear naked choke attempt from Fuchs. Fuchs avoiding Trine 's attempts to control his hands. Trine tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Trine taking shots to the head. Trine is working to get back to half guard.
Fuchs is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Trine is surviving well by controlling Fuchs's body position as best he can.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fuchs unloads with some shots from mount but Trine bucks and avoids them well.
Trine is looking to improve his position but Fuchs isn't that keen on the idea. Trine throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing. Fuchs is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Trine can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Trine gets back to half guard. Trine is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Fuchs's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Fuchs's back! Trine is looking to control Fuchs but Fuchs is wriggling around and keeping busy. Fuchs manages to reverse the position and now he's in Trine's guard. Nice work there by Fuchs.
Trine had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Fuchs is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Trine Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Fuchs's back instead. Fuchs manages to reverse the position and now he's in Trine's guard. Nice work there by Fuchs.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fuchs wants to pass the guard but Trine is keeping the position. Trine looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Fuchs has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Trine to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Fuchs is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Trine pulls down on the head and he's put Fuchs to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:42 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Michael Trine!
