Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Joshua Davison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Clark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Davison might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Cinderella Man - Eminem. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Colin Fotheringham and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davison loads up on a big right hand but Clark slips the punch.
Davison thows a left - swing and a miss!
A jab from Davison misses.
Davison thows a body shot but no joy.
Clark shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Davison pushes Clark off looking to stand but Clark dives back in and keeps control.
Clark is looking to advance position but Davison won't allow it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Clark trying to control the action but Davison is working from the bottom.
Clark is looking for a kimura here.

Davison tries to kick Clark off in order to stand up. Clark Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
Davison wants to get back to his feet.
Davison parries the strikes from Clark easily there. Clark is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Davison to escape.
Clark prevents Davison from escaping the position.
Davison is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Clark off and has taken his back!
Clark trying to control but not successfully.
Davison decides to get back to his feet. A strange decision but one that the crowd certainly appreciate.
A telegraphed right hand from Davison misses the target.
Davison misses with a looping left.

Clark avoids a punch combination nicely.
Clark shoots for a double leg takedown but Davison sprawls well. He's pushed Clark's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Davison throws a jab when Clark was well out of range.
Davison misses with a few strikes there.
Davison swings for the body but Clark moves out of range.
Davison throws a nice looking combination but Clark bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Clark looking to score a takedown here. Davison is defending well but Clark drives through and ends up in Davison's guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Clark trying to control the position from guard on top but Davison is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Clark seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Davison is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Clark drops back, looking for a kneebar! Davison looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Davison looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Davison!
Clark is looking for a sweep.
Davison prevents Clark from escaping the position.
Davison decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Davison will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Clark's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Davison connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Clark scrambles back to his feet.
Joshua Davison seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Davison throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Davison throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Davison misses with a leg kick.
Clark shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Davison as he avoids it easily.
Davison scores with the left hand. Clark knows he should have avoided that one.
Clark stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Davison.
Clark looks gassed!
Davison throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Davison lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Clark circles away quickly and effectively.
Horrible takedown by Clark or perhaps it was just good defense by Davison which made him look bad.
Joshua Davison has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Clark.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Clark is trying hard to land a takedown here. Davison sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Davison throws a right and a left that Clark avoids nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Davison just misses with a punch to the body.
Davison works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Davison cracks Clark with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Clark looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Davison finish him?
Clark is rocked!
It looks like John Clark has been cut.
Clark chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Davison can pounce on him.
Clark is still on wobbly legs! Can Davison finish him?
Clark scores a takedown into full mount!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Davison somehow manages to escape the mount and get back to his feet!
Davison lands with a right and another and another! Clark is in big trouble! Davison lands again and this time it's lights out for Clark! A quality knockout there for Davison.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:33 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Joshua Davison!
