The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mashego scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
The fighters circling - Mashego throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Mashego misses with a looping left.
Murdock ducks under a wild hook from Mashego.
Murdock looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Mashego!
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Murdock gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!
Murdock fails to land with a series of punches.
Mashego fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Murdock dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Mashego. That did some damage!

Mashego swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Mashego misses with a straight left.
Good exchange - Mashego coming out on top.
Murdock misses with a few strikes there.
Mashego listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Murdock is rocked!
Murdock looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Oh Murdock is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Murdock misses with an attempted mid kick.
Murdock glances at the clock... BAM! Mashego nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Murdock crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Murdock is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
