Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Marcin Pal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Abraham Fitch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, William Gold and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pal closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Pal controls the position.
Pal's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Pal advances to mount.
Fitch can't escape the position.

Pal postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Fitch looks a forlorn figure.

Pal has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Fitch's face.

Fitch is looking to clinch.
Pal shoots in for a takedown but Fitch shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Horrible takedown by Pal or perhaps it was just good defense by Fitch which made him look bad.

Fitch closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Pal is trying to maintain the position but Fitch is very close to passing his half guard.
Fitch looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Pal with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Pal makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Pal.
Pal uses the cage to get back to his feet.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marcin Pal. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Fitch swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Fitch misses with an attempted mid kick.
Marcin Pal seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fitch misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Pal.

Pal has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Fitch wants to control from the top but Pal keeps moving.
Fitch postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Pal is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Fitch is trying to maintain the position but Pal is very close to passing his half guard.

Fitch pushes Pal off and gets back to his feet.
Pal feints and as Fitch raises his hands in defense, Pal changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Pal has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
