Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Flip Marshall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Erevis Cale (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Erevis Cale is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Flip Marshall! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Erevis Cale! The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Steve Erwin and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cale tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Marshall paws at him with a jab and circles away. Nice takedown defense from Cale. No joy for Marshall on that attempt. Erevis Cale seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Cale misses with a double jab.
Cale is looking to clinch. Marshall attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Cale fails in his attempt to clinch. Marshall on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Cale. Cale obviously looking to wear him down.
The fight stays on the outside here - Cale looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Marshall circles away from the clinch attempt.
Cale tries to clinch up. Nice takedown defense from Cale. No joy for Marshall on that attempt. Cale tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Cale scores with a shoulder strike. Marshall can't get the takedown.

Marshall takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Cale lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Cale tries to clinch up but Marshall circles away and keeps his distance. This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Marshall. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. Cale tries to clinch up so Marshall counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Cale pushes Marshall off and gets back to his feet.

Erevis Cale showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Cale will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Marshall up against the cage. Cale creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Marshall's defenses. Cale looking to throw knees to the head but Marshall is blocking nicely.
Marshall has Cale pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Cale manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Cale putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Marshall in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body. Flip Marshall has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Cale lands an elbow inside that Marshall shrugs off. Erevis Cale is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Cale putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Marshall in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Cale. Marshall blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Cale connects with a nasty looking knee right to Marshall's face.
And that's the end of the fight! Erevis Cale comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Cale winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
