The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams rushes Merle and presses him up against the cage.
Williams lands a nice elbow.
It looks like Travis Merle has been cut.
Williams just leaning against Merle, taking a breather.

Merle has Williams pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Williams manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Williams just misses with a elbow thrown towards Merle's brow.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Williams comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Travis Merle's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
