Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yacine Fares (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fedor Emelianenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys are coming into the fight with injuries so let's see if that has a bearing on the fight. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fares misses with an uppercut. Emelianenko saw that one coming.
Fares getting the better of the striking in that exchange.

Emelianenko has Fares up against the cage in a clinch.

Emelianenko breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Fares throws a hook to the side of Emelianenko's head but Emelianenko sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Well Emelianenko has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
