Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Tokugawa Kazunari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian Walsh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Kazunari might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The Seeker. Brian Walsh has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Tokugawa Kazunari's chin.

8 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tokugawa Kazunari! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Brian Walsh! The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Summer Carpenter and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Walsh connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Kazunari's hands. Walsh throws a poor cross that misses
and Kazunari counters with an outside leg kick.
Walsh misses with a right hand and Kazunari counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Walsh thinking. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Kazunari, right into the meat.

Kazunari has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. That's three minutes gone in the round. Walsh utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Kazunari wants to pass the guard but Walsh is keeping the position. Kazunari throwing strikes but missing. Kazunari trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. That's four minutes gone in the round. Walsh can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Kazunari controls the pace. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Walsh can do anything to dispel that myth.
We're going to have a standup here because Tokugawa Kazunari wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Kazunari misses with a wild body shot. Good leg kick by Kazunari there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Kazunari is looking to slow Walsh down with leg kicks. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Walsh tries to bum rush Kazunari with a series of wild strikes but Kazunari uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Walsh doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Walsh misses with a left hand and Kazunari counters with an outside leg kick.

Kazunari punishes Walsh's body with a nice straight punch. Kazunari is looking to wear down Walsh with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Kazunari throws a head kick that misses.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Kazunari is looking to take a break and control but Walsh is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Walsh managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Kazunari.

Kazunari drives through with a takedown into guard. Walsh wants to control the position but Kazunari says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. Walsh takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Kazunari wants to work for an arm triangle but Walsh is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Walsh in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kazunari has control of Walsh's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Walsh regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Kazunari lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Kazunari feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Kazunari trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Kazunari scores with a nice strike. Kazunari moves into range and connects with a jab. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Kazunari connects with a slap.
