Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Emerson Jorge and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Iaton displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Montoya throws out the jab.
Iaton throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Iaton thows a body shot but no joy.
Iaton takes a swing at Montoya's ribcage but misses.
Montoya keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Iaton wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Montoya fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Iaton.
Montoya swings for the body but Iaton moves out of range.
Iaton fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Montoya avoids it really well and circles away.

Iaton closes the distance and clinches up with Montoya, looking for a takedown. Iaton pushes Montoya against the cage but Montoya circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Iaton shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Montoya's guard.
Montoya utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Montoya is looking for a sweep.
Iaton cracks Montoya with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Iaton tries to score with some ground and pound. Montoya controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Iaton is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Montoya defends it well.
