The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good shot there by Rua.
It looks like Papa Smurf has been cut.
Rua throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Smurf showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Rua.
Nice takedown defense from Rua. No joy for Smurf on that attempt.
Rua throws a low kick but Smurf avoids it.
Smurf looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Rua scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Rua misses with a wild combination.
Rua dances in with a quick combination. Smurf is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Rua snaps Smurf's head back. Smurf stumbles backwards against the cage. Rua steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Smurf's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Smurf just didn't come prepared.
