Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Logan Nguyen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Vasquez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A left and a right from Vasquez both land. Nice combination.
Vasquez lands a jab to Nguyen's midsection.
Vasquez throws a nice looking combination but Nguyen bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Nguyen changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Vasquez tries to avoid it but Nguyen manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Vasquez to the ground. Vasquez escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Vasquez's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Vasquez duly obliges.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Nguyen shoots for a double leg takedown but Vasquez sprawls well. He's pushed Nguyen's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Vasquez scores with a jab.
Nice combo by Vasquez! Oh, that's hurt him - Nguyen falls to the canvas and Vasquez follows him into side control.
Nguyen is rocked!
Vasquez has hold of Nguyen's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Nguyen tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Vasquez cranks the arm and Nguyen screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Nguyen, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Tony Vasquez!
