Akecheta comes into the arena with Gangster Gangster blaring out of the sound system. Wakanda Akecheta could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Dorian Gay's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Ian Loll and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Akecheta displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Gay throws out the jab.
Gay throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Gay throws a jab but it's blocked by Akecheta.
Gay thows a body shot but no joy.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Gay loads up on a big right hand but Akecheta slips the punch.
Gay rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Akecheta holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Akecheta pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Gay blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Akecheta tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

Gay manages to break the clinch.
Akecheta takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Akecheta throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Gay tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Akecheta is in Gay's guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Gay has his hands on Akecheta's head, controlling the position.
Gay's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Akecheta looking to sit in guard and control but Gay gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gay is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Akecheta has momentary wrist control but Gay slips an elbow through the middle.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Gay is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Gay stands and throws Akecheta's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Akecheta knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gay on the ground.

Gay is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Akecheta has escaped the position, nice work there.
Gay looks up at the clock and then as Akecheta takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Gay smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Gay cracks Akecheta with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Gay advances to mount.
Gay breaks from Akecheta's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Gay looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Gay drops a big elbow. That's hurt Akecheta! More shots from Gay and the ref steps in! The fight is over!
