Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, James Beauvais!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Scott Tremblay!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Elvis Blanc and Trevor Gratis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beauvais tries to clinch up but Tremblay circles away and keeps his distance.
Beauvais takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Beauvais fails in his attempt to clinch.
Tremblay lands with a slapping head kick.
Beauvais changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Tremblay tries to avoid it but Beauvais manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Tremblay to the ground. Tremblay escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Tremblay misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Tremblay stuffs the takedown.
Tremblay shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Beauvais but Beauvais pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Beauvais has his foot on Tremblay's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Tremblay works his way back into a safe position though.
Beauvais bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Tremblay's guard.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Scott Tremblay hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
