Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Neil Strauss! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Netz Prash! The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Emerson Jorge and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sloppy strikes from Prash. Those never looked like landing. Strauss gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Strauss takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Strauss fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Prash has closed the distance and engaged Strauss in a clinch.
Prash wants to break the clinch but can't.

Prash lands on the inside with an uppercut. A short right hand to the side of the head by Prash. A frustrated look appears on Prash's face as he tries to break the clinch. Strauss jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Prash walks away with a smile on his face. Strauss gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Neil Strauss. That's going to take a lot out of him. Strauss misses with a jab, cross combination.
Prash clinches. A right hook to the body lands for Prash.
Strauss pulls guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Prash wants to stand and escape but instead Strauss has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Prash wants to stand but Strauss is controlling the position. Strauss wants to stand but Prash has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Prash wants to stand but Strauss is controlling the position. Strauss will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Strauss throwing strikes but missing.

Prash wants to get back to his feet but Strauss drags him back down. Strauss wants to control but Prash is keeping him busy. Prash is pushing Strauss's head away, looking to escape. Strauss manages to hold on to the position though. Strauss tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Strauss prevents Prash from escaping the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Prash seems a little lost for a moment, as Strauss dominates the positioning. Prash is pushing Strauss's head away, looking to escape. Strauss throwing lazy shots from the back mount that aren't doing any damage. Strauss has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Prash! Can he survive? No! He's out! Strauss gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
