Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Douglas Amaral (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ed Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ed Silva! The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Alexandre Firmino and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Amaral shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Silva is looking to clinch but Amaral is avoiding it.

Amaral drops back looking for a leg! Silva is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Silva manages to kick Amaral off! Amaral jumps back into Silva's guard. Silva wants to stand up but Amaral is controlling him. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Amaral throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Silva tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Amaral is in Silva's guard. Silva wants to sweep but no luck.
