The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, John Mangel and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Dibbiani.
deFunes bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
deFunes connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Luis deFunes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A head kick misses from deFunes.
Dibbiani closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Dibbiani lands in his opponent's guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Dibbiani is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Dibbiani drops back looking for a leg! deFunes is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and deFunes manages to kick Dibbiani off! Dibbiani jumps back into deFunes's guard.

Dibbiani wants to control from the top but deFunes keeps moving.
deFunes is pulling down on Dibbiani's head to control his posture.
Dibbiani won't allow deFunes to sweep him here.
Dibbiani thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Dibbiani gets to his feet. deFunes looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Dibbiani misses with a takedown attempt - deFunes sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
deFunes looking to land some kicks to the body here.
deFunes pushes Dibbiani away with a front kick.
Dibbiani looks gassed!
deFunes moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The fighters circle, before deFunes throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Dibbiani's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! deFunes lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
