Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Shoju Bayushi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mitchell Pearsen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bayushi comes to the cage accompanied by Masta Killa. Pearsen is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by "One Eighty By Summer" - Taking Back Sunday. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Shoju Bayushi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mitchell Pearsen! The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Ren Mimura and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pearsen comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Pearsen takes the fight into the clinch. Pearsen struggles to land a body shot inside as Bayushi controls his hands.
A nice right hand lands inside from Pearsen. Bayushi tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Pearsen smiles and moves away.
Bayushi shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Pearsen gets a clinch. Pearsen working some nice short punches in the clinch. Pearsen lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Bayushi backwards. Still in the clinch, Pearsen scores with a nice short uppercut.
It looks like Shoju Bayushi has been cut. Pearsen breaks the clinch.
Bayushi is looking to clinch. Pearsen swings for the body but Bayushi moves out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bayushi looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Pearsen is fending him off so far but Bayushi persists. Nope, Pearsen circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Shoju Bayushi. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bayushi keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Pearsen. Bayushi ducks right into an uppercut from Pearsen.
Bayushi is rocked! Pearsen throws a monster overhand right that drops Bayushi! Pearsen follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mitchell Pearsen!
