Zabuza moves to clinch but Maldonado breaks away
and Maldonado counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Maldonado tries to pass the half guard into mount. Zabuza knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Zabuza really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Maldonado. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Maldonado lands a heavy shot. That's hurt Zabuza! Maldonado sees the opportunity and turns up the heat - strike after strike land to the defenseless Zabuza and the ref dives in to save him! This one is all over!
