Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Chance Boudreaux (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antonio Brega (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Boudreaux might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Forsake Not The Dream. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Chance Boudreaux!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Antonio Brega!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Leandro Rodrigues and Paulo Santos.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boudreaux throws a half hearted mid kick.
Brega just misses with a punch to the body.
The fight stays on the outside here - Brega looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Brega is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Boudreaux gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
A frustrated look appears on Boudreaux's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Brega tries to score a body lock takedown but Boudreaux shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Boudreaux is looking to break free of the clinch but Brega has double underhooks.

Brega turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Brega manages to end up in side control.
Brega is putting a hurting on Boudreaux here, landing some big shots from side control.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
An elbow from Brega crashes against the mat.
Boudreaux knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Brega on the ground.
Brega misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Brega working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
Brega wants to control but Boudreaux is keeping him busy.
Brega has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Brega moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
Let's hope that Brega has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Antonio Brega will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Brega throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Boudreaux's waist but Boudreaux gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Brega off to one side.

Boudreaux throws a hook to the side of Brega's head but Brega sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Brega shoots in looking for a takedown. Boudreaux tries to sprawl out of it but Brega keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Boudreaux manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Chance Boudreaux has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Antonio Brega.
Brega tries to clinch up but Boudreaux circles away and keeps his distance.
Boudreaux connects with a solid leg kick.
Boudreaux throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Boudreaux lands with a right hand.

Brega walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
A nice inside leg kick there by Boudreaux. That's going to slow Brega down.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Brega crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Boudreaux - the referee stops the clock and Brega gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Boudreaux. Brega manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Boudreaux - that will leave a mark!
Brega is breathing heavily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Boudreaux uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Brega has time to react.
Boudreaux fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Chance Boudreaux is winning the standup battle so far.
Boudreaux scores with a one two! Brega had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Boudreaux stalks Brega and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Brega's face. Brega staggers backwards, shaken.

Brega is trying to trip Boudreaux. He has hold of a leg but Boudreaux is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Brega persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!


Boudreaux will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Brega turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Brega manages to end up in side control.

Brega is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Boudreaux has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Boudreaux!
Boudreaux wanted to stand there but Brega had control of the position.

Brega pushes Boudreaux off and gets back to his feet.

Boudreaux connects with a right hand. Brega shakes it off.
Boudreaux looks to land a right hand but Brega moved out of range.
Boudreaux moves into range and connects with a jab.
Brega throws a body punch but Boudreaux moves out of range.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Brega shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Boudreaux as he jumps to the side.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Antonio Brega.
I think Brega has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
