Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dan Bradley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bradley comes to the cage accompanied by Ride Of The Valkyries. Johnson has chosen Through the Fire Flames- Dragonforce as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Dan Bradley! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, George Johnson! The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Matheus Silva and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bradley with a nice cross. Bradley looks for a takedown but Johnson sprawls well. Johnson moves out of range as Bradley throws a body kick.
Bradley connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Johnson momentarily.
Bradley tries for a takedown but Johnson sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Bradley checks a low kick from Johnson. Bradley misses with a two punch combination.
Johnson throws a solid leg kick but Bradley takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Johnson. Dan Bradley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Johnson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Bradley shoots in looking for a takedown but Johnson manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Bradley's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dan Bradley. That's going to take a lot out of him. This has been an exciting period of action! Bradley slips a jab and a cross from Johnson.
Johnson stuffs the takedown attempt from Bradley. Bradley gets slowly back to his feet. A good leg kick by Johnson. Johnson tries to score with a low kick but Bradley moves his leg out of the way. Bradley scores with a hook. Bradley misses with a straight right. Johnson throws a one two combo.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bradley connects with a nice looking jab.
Johnson misses with a series of wild punches.
Bradley lands a front kick. Bradley fails to land the takedown. Bradley is breathing heavily. Johnson decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Johnson connects with a nice short shot to Bradley's temple. Bradley wants to improve his position but Johnson is controlling well.
Johnson not landing any meaningful shots this time. Bradley is refusing to be controlled, as Johnson sits in half guard. Johnson is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Bradley is just riding it out for now. Johnson eventually gives up the hold. Bradley is pressing down on Johnson's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Johnson wants to control from the top but Bradley keeps moving. Johnson postures up and lands a big shot to Bradley's brow. Bradley keeping full guard, as Johnson tries to pass. Johnson looking to sit in guard and control but Bradley gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Bradley thows a big elbow that misses. Johnson has his foot on Bradley's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bradley works his way back into a safe position though. Bradley loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Johnson preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Bradley has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Johnson has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Bradley has passed into side control.
Bradley tries to score with some ground and pound. Johnson controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Bradley misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Bradley looks up at the clock and then as Johnson takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Bradley smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Johnson is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Johnson tries to bench press Bradley off him but Bradley keeps the position. Johnson wants to get back to his feet but Bradley drags him back down. Bradley throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Johnson can do anything to dispel that myth. Bradley creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Bradley is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Johnson is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Johnson tries to buck Bradley off but Bradley is having none of it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Johnson manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Bradley preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head. Bradley is looking to escape. Johnson controlling the action here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bradley punching from the bottom.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Johnson tries to pass the half guard into mount. Bradley knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Bradley punching from the bottom.
Bradley wants to sweep but Johnson has passed to side control! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Dan Bradley will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Johnson thows a leg kick but Bradley checks it and Bradley counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Bradley cracks Johnson with an open hand slap. Bradley fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Johnson throws a leg kick but Bradley moved away. A swing and a miss from Bradley. Johnson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Johnson misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Bradley.
Bradley looks to land a combination but Johnson avoids it well. No joy there for Bradley, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Dan Bradley is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Johnson shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Bradley defends it nicely. Bradley's jab looks to have found its range, popping Johnson under the eye. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Johnson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Dan Bradley is winning the standup battle so far. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Bradley.
Johnson moves out of range of the body kick from Bradley.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bradley shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Johnson defends it nicely. Johnson needs to keep his hands up - Bradley had a free shot at his head there. Bradley clobbers Johnson with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Johnson misses with a takedown attempt - Bradley sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Bradley turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Bradley misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Johnson.
Good work by Johnson as he checks the leg kick. Johnson looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Bradley is trying to maintain the position but Johnson is very close to passing his half guard. Bradley is staying active underneath Johnson, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Johnson thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Johnson is controlling the pace.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Johnson working over Bradley with some ground and pound. Bradley looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Bradley wants to sweep but Johnson has passed to side control! Bradley throwing some weak shots from the bottom that do no damage.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Johnson connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Bradley some visible discomfort.
Johnson avoids the strikes from the bottom by Bradley. Bradley is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Johnson off and has taken his back! Bradley connects with a big shot to the side of Johnson's head.
Johnson looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. Johnson prevents Bradley from getting a body triangle. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Johnson is in bad spot here.
Bradley is looking to finish with some ground and pound! Bradley is not going to allow Johnson to sit and survive in this position. Johnson covering up well under a barage of strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Johnson preventing the rear naked choke attempt from Bradley. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Johnson breaks Bradley's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

Bradley is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Johnson cracks Bradley with a solid left hand. Bradley looking for a guillotine here but Johnson defends easily.
George Johnson has got the better of the ground game so far. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Bradley throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Johnson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bradley swivels though and keeps the full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dan Bradley dominated that second round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Johnson wants to slow Bradley down by chopping away at his legs. Johnson avoids a punch combination nicely.
Johnson thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Bradley if he has to take too many more of those.
Johnson throws a head kick that misses. Johnson moves away from the strike by Bradley. Bradley misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Bradley throws a strike from the bottom but Johnson passes into side control!

Johnson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bradley keeps working. Johnson tries to move into full mount but can't pass Bradley's legs. Johnson scores with a couple of short elbows.

Bradley has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Johnson is working away from the top position though. Bradley works his way to full guard. Good work. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Johnson avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Bradley avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Bradley trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Johnson wants to control from the top but Bradley keeps moving. George Johnson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Dan Bradley is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Johnson won't allow Bradley to get back to his feet.
And that's the end of the fight! George Johnson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Bradley has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
