Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Albert Fish (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wallid Ismail (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 25 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Albert Fish!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Wallid Ismail!
The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Matheus Silva and Thiago Cunha.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ismail fails in his attempt to clinch.
Ismail uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Fish.
Some wild striking there from Fish.
A jab from Fish misses.
Ismail's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Fish connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Ismail scrambles back to his feet.
Fish connects with a looping right hand.
Fish closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Ismail moves out of range of the strikes.
Ismail shoots for a double leg takedown but Fish sprawls well. He's pushed Ismail's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Ismail is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Fish's half guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Fish tries to get to full guard but Ismail has control of the leg.

Ismail's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Ismail wants to lay and pray for a moment but Fish keeps working.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Wallid Ismail hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Fish gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Ismail tries to stand and escape but Fish is controlling the position.
Ismail wants to lay and pray for a moment but Fish keeps working.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Ismail shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Fish as he avoids it easily.

Fish throws a hook but Ismail blocks it.
Fish tries to bum rush Ismail with a series of wild strikes but Ismail uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Ismail stands up and beckons Fish to join him on the feet.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Ismail will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Ismail walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

That was a close round but I would say that Albert Fish will probably get the nod.

Ismail with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Fish to score with a decent uppercut.

and Fish counters with a series of strikes. Ismail will be more careful next time no doubt.
Horrible takedown by Ismail or perhaps it was just good defense by Fish which made him look bad.

Ismail looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Fish is fending him off so far but Ismail persists. Nope, Fish circles away and we're back to standing.

Fish's jab looks to have found its range, popping Ismail under the eye.
Fish takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Ismail tries to close the distance and clinch up but Fish swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Fish!

No luck with that takedown attempt from Ismail.
Ismail fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Fish lands with a nice body punch.
Fish works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Ismail slips a jab and a cross from Fish.
Ismail changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Fish tries to avoid it but Ismail manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Fish to the ground. Fish escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Fish slaps away a takedown attempt from Ismail, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Fish throws a right hand that Ismail ducks under and follows up with a left that Ismail also avoids with ease.
Ismail swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
The fighters circling - Fish throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
No joy there for Fish, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Ismail keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Fish stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Fish wants it to stay on the feet.

Ismail is breathing heavily.
Fish dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Fish fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Fish fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Ismail on the side of the head.
Ismail shoots in looking for a takedown but Fish manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Ismail's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Ismail has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Fish clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Ismail's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.

Well, with Ismail on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Fish is tapping out... Can he escape the position?
Fish controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ismail is not going to allow Fish to sit and survive in this position.
Ismail trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Fish doesn't escape.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Fish trying to control the action but Ismail just sinks the hooks in.

Ismail has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Fish has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Fish ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Ismail drops down looking for an ankle pick but Fish pulls his leg out and moves away.

Fish can't find room to land a body shot as Ismail controls the action.

Ismail tries to score a body lock takedown but Fish shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Wallid Ismail has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Nice body punch from Fish - that landed with a thud.
Fish goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Fish lands on the inside with an uppercut.

And that's the end of the fight!
Albert Fish showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Fish, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
