Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tre Barnes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kron Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barnes comes to the cage accompanied by Black Eyed Peas - Imma Be. Gracie comes into a darkened arena with his song building. The Bravery - time won't let me go kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 5 - 2, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tre Barnes! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
18 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kron Gracie! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Chris Downing and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gracie shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Barnes pinned against the cage. Barnes gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Barnes throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Gracie throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Barnes misses with a body shot.
Barnes misses with a shot to the body and Gracie counters with a nice double leg into side control. Barnes won't be happy with that. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Barnes regains half guard. Gracie is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Barnes sees it coming and defends easily. Gracie trying to pass the guard but Barnes defending well. Barnes tries to get to full guard but Gracie has control of the leg.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gracie is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Barnes is just riding it out for now. Gracie eventually gives up the hold. Barnes wants to get back to full guard. Gracie is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Gracie seems to be working for a kimura but Barnes defends the submission attempt. Gracie wants to pass to mount but Barnes is defending the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Barnes is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Gracie jumps into side control! Gracie trying to control the position but Barnes is working away. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Barnes is looking for a sweep. Gracie wants to control but Barnes is keeping him busy. Barnes sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Gracie looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Gracie seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Barnes is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Gracie's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Gracie's back! Gracie tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Gracie is wriggling around trying to escape.
Gracie is squirming around, avoiding Barnes's attempts to control the action. Barnes prevents Gracie from getting the reversal. Barnes lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Gracie hang on? Barnes landing shots from mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Barnes working the ground and pound effectively.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Barnes cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Barnes landing strikes, looking to finish! Gracie regains half guard. Gracie slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Gracie is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Barnes pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Gracie is keeping the position for now. Gracie is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Barnes defends well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tre Barnes dominated that round. That's time! Barnes's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Gracie instigates a clinch. A shot in the inside from Gracie. Gracie tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Gracie pulls guard successfully.
Barnes trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Gracie avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Gracie preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Barnes keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Gracie's head. Gracie tries to land a sweep but no joy. Barnes throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Gracie works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Gracie utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Gracie is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Barnes rolls with it to try and escape but Gracie cranks on the arm and Barnes is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
