Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tim Duncan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cain Velasquez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cain Velasquez will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duncan feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Velasquezs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Velasquez's corner calls for a 1-2. Velasquez obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Velasquez looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Duncan is fending him off so far but Velasquez persists. Nope, Duncan circles away and we're back to standing.
Duncan tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Velasquez scores with a nice right hand.
Duncan slips a straight right by Velasquez.
Duncan misses with a low kick.

enabling Velasquez to counter with a crisp jab.
Duncan misses with a hook.
Velasquez shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Duncan defends it nicely.
Duncan scores with a head kick. Velasquez tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
It looks like Cain Velasquez has been cut.

Horrible takedown by Velasquez or perhaps it was just good defense by Duncan which made him look bad.
Tim Duncan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cain Velasquez.

Velasquez fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Duncan avoids it really well and circles away.
Velasquez throws a hook but Duncan blocks it.
Velasquez has his takedown stuffed
and Duncan counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Velasquez closes the distance and clinches up with Duncan, looking for a takedown. Velasquez pushes Duncan against the cage but Duncan circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Oooooh!!! Duncan has knocked Velasquez down with a huge combo! Duncan steps away and waves a wobbly Velasquez back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Duncan looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Velasquez cracks Duncan with a good jab.
Duncan misses with a double jab.
Velasquez missing with a left hand there. Duncan was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Duncan circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Velasquez drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Duncan follows Velasquez to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
