Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eddie Andrews!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ronnie Diehl!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Alan Glass and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diehl shoots and misses

and Andrews counters with a single leg into guard. Diehl didn't expect that.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Andrews loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Diehl is adopting a defensive guard.

Diehl looking for a guillotine here but Andrews defends easily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Andrews stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Diehl swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Andrews looking to sit in guard and control but Diehl gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Diehl trying to control the position from guard on top but Andrews is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Andrews is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Andrews on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Andrews tries to get out of the position.
Andrews wants to stand up but Diehl is controlling him.
Andrews might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Diehl throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Andrews looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Andrews trying to keep a closed guard but Diehl is proving a slippery customer.
Diehl is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Diehl trying to control but Andrews is working from the bottom.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Diehl avoids a low kick by using good footwork.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Diehl lands a two punch combo.
Diehl scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.

Andrews darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Andrews tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Diehl regains full guard. Nicely done.
Andrews wants to pass the guard but Diehl is keeping the position.

Diehl is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Andrews frees his head nicely. Oh but Diehl has switched to an armbar! Andrews is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
