The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Selby with a poor takedown
letting Baltazar counter with a right hand.
Baltazar cracks Selby with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Baltazar has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Selby to stand back up!
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A combination from Baltazar does no damage.
Baltazar sends Selby crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Baltazar is motioning to the referee to let Selby up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Selby shoots in looking for a takedown but Baltazar manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Selby's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Selby.
Brutus Baltazar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rick Selby.
Selby uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Baltazar.

Selby throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Baltazar tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Selby is in Baltazar's guard.
Baltazar is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Baltazar is looking to break free of the clinch but Selby has double underhooks.

Selby fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Baltazar lands with an uppercut that bounces Selby off the cage and back into rage.
It looks like Rick Selby has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Selby closes the distance and clinches up with Baltazar, looking for a takedown. Selby pushes Baltazar against the cage but Baltazar circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Selby shoots in for a takedown but Baltazar shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Baltazar throws a hook but Selby avoids it easily.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Selby walks into a left hand.

and Baltazar counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Baltazar lands with a cross.
Selby fails with the takedown
and Baltazar scores with a counter punch that sends Selby to the canvas! Baltazar smells blood - he's punishing Selby with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Selby has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
