Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pete Schell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Saul Reznor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Pete Schell! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Saul Reznor! The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Joseph Jones and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Reznor drops his hands momentarily and Schell takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Schell throws a head kick but Reznor moves out of range.
Schell shoots for a double leg takedown but Reznor sprawls well. He's pushed Schell's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Schell throws a body kick that misses. Schell fails with an attempt to clinch.
Schell fails with the takedown. Pete Schell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Schell tries to close the distance and clinch but Reznor swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Schell tries to clinch up but Reznor circles away and keeps his distance. Reznor keeps the fight on the outside. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Schell fails with a takedown attempt from distance. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pete Schell. That's going to take a lot out of him. Schell shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Reznor as he jumps to the side. Reznor fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
That's one minute gone in the round. Horrible takedown by Reznor or perhaps it was just good defense by Schell which made him look bad. Schell drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Reznor is trying to get back to half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Schell wants to control but Reznor is keeping him busy. Reznor tries to buck Schell off but Schell is having none of it. Reznor manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Reznor missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Reznor is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Schell is breathing heavily. Reznor wants to free his trapped foot but Schell is holding on for dear life with his legs. Reznor uses his free foot to push down on Schell's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Schell.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Reznor tries to control but Schell wriggling away. Schell is trying desperately to improve position. Reznor takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Schell is squirming around, avoiding Reznor's attempts to control the action. Schell is looking to improve his position but Reznor isn't that keen on the idea. Reznor with some aggressive grappling here, looking for the finish.
Reznor wants to finish this one by submission but Schell is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Reznor. Reznor working for a guillotine from mount but Schell is in no mood to give up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Schell looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back! Reznor doesn't have the hooks in and Schell manages to turn into his guard.
Schell wants to control from the top but Reznor keeps moving. Schell is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Schell would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Schell trying to control but Reznor is working from the bottom. Schell not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Schell's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Reznor escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Schell gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Schell sitting in guard here, content to control. Schell gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Reznor tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Schell paws at him with a jab and circles away. Reznor keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Schell. Reznor gets the takedown into side control. Schell is looking to reverse the position. Reznor tries for a kimura but Schell is defending well. You can see the frustration on Schell's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Saul Reznor will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Schell with a lazy takedown attempt and Reznor counters by clinching up. Reznor wants a takedown.
Schell is looking to control Reznor's arms but Reznor gets an underhook and turns him. Now Schell has his back to the cage. Reznor misses with a short punch on the inside. Reznor wants to break the clinch but can't.
Schell gets underhooks to prevent Reznor's takedown attempt.
Reznor lands on the inside with an uppercut. Reznor stalling in the clinch but Schell improves position. Reznor can't get the takedown.
Pete Schell has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Saul Reznor. Reznor throws a punch but it's blocked by Schell. Schell has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Reznor clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Schell just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
Schell wants to control but Reznor is keeping busy. Reznor manages to reverse the position and now he's in Schell's guard. Nice work there by Reznor.
Reznor passes easily into side control. Nice work. Reznor looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Reznor goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Schell has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Reznor but great work by Schell.
That's one minute gone in the round. Schell tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Reznor is trying to get back to half guard. Reznor manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Reznor is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Schell blocks the strikes from Reznor.
Reznor tries to roll over but Schell keeps him under control. Reznor regains full guard. Nicely done. Schell sitting in guard here, content to control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Reznor wants to control the position but Schell says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. Reznor throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Reznor tries to get to full guard but Schell has control of the leg. Schell decides to return to a standing position. Reznor tries to close the distance and clinch up but Schell swats him away and circles back towards the center. Reznor shoots in but no luck this time. Reznor is breathing heavily. Schell avoids a punch combination nicely.
Schell throws a left and a right that both miss
and Reznor counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Reznor. Schell fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Reznor gets underhooks to prevent Schell's takedown attempt.
Schell pulls guard effortlessly. Reznor won't allow Schell to sweep him here. Reznor wants to pass the guard but Schell is keeping the position. Schell trying to keep a closed guard but Reznor is proving a slippery customer.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Reznor passes Schell's left leg - he's now in half guard. Reznor is keen to just control but Schell is a slippery customer. Reznor moves into full mount! Schell won't be happy about that! Reznor jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Schell manages to avoid the submission attempt. Schell wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Schell tries to improve position but can't. Reznor tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Reznor has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Reznor working away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Reznor is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Schell is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Schell is looking for a sweep.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Reznor blocks the body kick.
Schell throws a head kick but Reznor moves out of range.
Reznor throws a right and a left that Schell avoids nicely. Reznor shoots in and bounces Schell off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Reznor trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Saul Reznor showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Schell doesn't succeed with the takedown and Reznor counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Reznor is looking to work some ground and pound but Schell has wrist control. Reznor trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Schell is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Reznor drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Reznor jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Schell is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Reznor advances position into side control! Both fighters are breathing heavily. Schell stops Reznor from passing to mount.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Schell tries to clinch and Reznor counters with a series of strikes. Schell will be more careful next time no doubt.

Reznoris looking to pass into half guard but Schell pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Schell is in guard. Reznor throws his legs up looking for a submission but Schell uses it to pass to side control.

Schell throws a big right hand that misses. Reznor wants to hit a switch here but Schell passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Reznor there! Reznor is trying to escape the mount.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Reznor is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Reznor tries to hold on but Schell pushes him away. Schell looking to control but Reznor is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Reznor manages to regain half guard. Good work. Schell is keen to just control but Reznor is a slippery customer. Schell is looking to advance position but Reznor won't allow it. Saul Reznor has got the better of the ground game so far. Reznor actively working from the bottom here. Schell missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Schell is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Schell trying to mount his opponent but Reznor defends it. Schell throwing shots but Reznor is blocking nicely.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Donk. Schell catches Reznor right on the button with a cross. Schell fails with the takedown and Reznor counters with a left to the body. Schell throws a head kick but Reznor moves out of range.
Reznor shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Reznor is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
And that's the end of the fight! Saul Reznor comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Reznor has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
