The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Ackerman and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sherk blocks the body kick.
Sherk thows a body shot but no joy.
Sherk has a takedown stuffed.
Sherk keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Stinkfist misses with a hook. Sherk ducked under it nicely.

Sherk takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Stinkfist lands a nice shot that snaps Sherk's head back.

Stinkfist throws a leg kick but Sherk checks it.
Stinkfist tries to close the distance and clinch up but Sherk swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Stinkfist throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Sherk shoots in looking for a takedown but Stinkfist manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Sherk's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Stinkfist shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Sherk eats them both and turns towards Stinkfist to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
It looks like Bryan Sherk has been cut.
Stinkfist throws a leg kick but Sherk moved away.
Stinkfist throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Stinkfist doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

and Stinkfist counters with a big head kick but Sherk shrugs it off.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Sherk ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Stinkfist moves away.

Sherk lands with a right hand.
Stinkfist takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Stinkfist is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Sherk closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Sherk lands in his opponent's guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Sherk stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Stinkfist swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Stinkfist not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Stinkfist thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Sherk scoring with some ground and pound.
Stinkfist is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Stinkfist is looking to sweep but instead, Sherk has passed into half guard.
Sherk is trying to work for a kimura but Stinkfist is defending well.

Stinkfist wants to control but Sherk is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Sherk tries to pass the half guard into mount. Stinkfist knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Stinkfist is pressing down on Sherk's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Sherk throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Stinkfist misses with a head kick.

Sherk shoots in but Stinkfist avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Sherk dives in and grabs Stinkfist's left leg, looking for a takedown. Stinkfist pushes down on Sherk's head and hops out.

Stinkfist throws a nice looking combination but Sherk bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Sherk lands with a nice combination. Stinkfist backs away looking to recover.
Bobcat Stinkfist is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Stinkfist throws a push kick but Sherk slaps the foot to one side.
Sherk changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Stinkfist tries to avoid it but Sherk manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Stinkfist to the ground. Stinkfist escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Sherk slips a straight right by Stinkfist.
Bryan Sherk seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sherk takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Sherk lands with a nice body punch.
Sherk will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Sherk keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Stinkfist stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Stinkfist wants it to stay on the feet.

Sherk shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Stinkfist as he avoids it easily.
Stinkfist tries to bum rush Sherk with a series of wild strikes but Sherk uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Sherk ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Stinkfist moves away.
Stinkfist attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Bobcat Stinkfist seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Sherk misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Stinkfist.
Sherk looks to score with a jab to the body but Stinkfist is just out of range.
Sherk throws a right hand that misses
and Stinkfist counters with a one-two to the body.
Sherk is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Stinkfist knocks out Sherk with a massive right hand! The ref tackles Stinkfist before he can follow up with any more strikes and that's it everyone. Stinkfist picks up the big W with a huge KO!
