Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Stanislaw Dziuk! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jon Timler! The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dziuk tries to keep at a distance but Timler has taken the fight into the clinch. Timler misses with a knee to the head. A left hand lands to the body for Dziuk.
Timler throws a knee to the head but misses.
Timler with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Timler using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Dziuk has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Dziuk scores with a hook to the body. Timler misses with a knee strike.
Timler throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Dziuk blocks it with crossed arms. Timler looking to throw knees to the head but Dziuk is blocking nicely.
Dziuk looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Timler with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Timler with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Dziuk wants to break the clinch but can't.
Timler lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
It looks like Stanislaw Dziuk has been cut. Timler throws a knee to the head but misses.
Timler looks gassed! Timler looking to throw knees to the head but Dziuk is blocking nicely.
Dziuk is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Timler misses with a knee strike.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dziuk tries to break the clinch but Timler is controlling the position. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Dziuk creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Timler using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Dziuk has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
A frustrated look appears on Dziuk's face as he tries to break the clinch. Dziuk is trying to force a seperation but Timler has the dominant position. Timler prevents Dziuk from breaking the clinch. Timler keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Dziuk's efforts to push away. Dziuk breaks from the clinch.
Dziuk lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
It looks like Jon Timler has been cut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Dziuk throws a nice looking combination but Timler bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Danga de danga de dang - Dziuk scores with a four punch combination! Timler on the wrong end of a nice hook. Dziuk lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Timler can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Dziuk and Timler drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Dziuk.
