Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Carl Carter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Nathan Corbett!
The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carter tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Corbett was well out of range. Poor timing from Carter.
Carter takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
A big left from Carter misses.
The fighters circle momentarily. Corbett darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Carter loads up on a big right hand but Corbett slips the punch.
Corbett throws a head kick that half lands.


It looks like Carl Carter has been cut.
Corbett connects with a solid leg kick.
Corbett pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
A combination from Carter does no damage.
Corbett connects with the punch.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A lazy left from Corbett finds it's target.
Carter on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Corbett shoots in and bounces Carter off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Corbett gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Carter throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Corbett sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Corbett.
Carter tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Corbett wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Corbett decides to stand back up.
Corbett connects with a jab.
A looping hook to the body misses from Corbett. Carter does a little dance to reset his feet.
Corbett lands with an uppercut that bounces Carter off the cage and back into rage.
Carter throws the left hand but Corbett avoids the punch easily.

Corbett closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Corbett lands in his opponent's guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Corbett gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Carter is breathing heavily.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Corbett lands a head shot.
Corbett defending well as Carter loads up on a big left hand.
Corbett connects with a body shot.
Corbett lands a glancing blow to the side of Carter's head.


Carter is rocked!
Corbett drops Carter with a huge uppercut! Carter drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Corbett is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Nathan Corbett!
