Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bret McKenzie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wang Chung (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Chung's choice of entrance music: Everybody Have Fun Tonight- Wang Chung. Wang Chung told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Viktor Lagutenko and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McKenzie moves out of range as Chung strikes.
Chung throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Chung throws a series of punches but McKenzie avoids them all with ease.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Chung enables McKenzie to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Chung manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
McKenzie wants to control from the top but Chung keeps moving.

Chung utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
McKenzie throwing strikes from guard but Chung blocks nicely.
Chung can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as McKenzie controls the pace.

McKenzie slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

McKenzie advances nicely into full mount.

Chung is bucking up trying to escape but McKenzie cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
McKenzie lands with some strikes.
Chung is working to get back to half guard.
McKenzie lands a big elbow - Chung is in trouble! More strikes from the mount and Chung is forced to tap out!
