PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Shawn MacArthur (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Keiji Numa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Numa comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Ladies and Gentlemen kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Shawn MacArthur had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 171.4lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Keiji Numa!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Bruno Hogan and Summer Carpenter.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A right-left combo lands from Numa.
MacArthur wants to clinch
and Numa makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
MacArthur tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Numa swivels and escapes.

MacArthur closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Numa did well to prevent MacArthur getting side control.

Numa feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Numa changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. MacArthur looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

I would just about give that final round to Keiji Numa.
I've got Numa winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
