Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ashe Corven (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gregorio San Pedro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Corven might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Escape. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ashe Corven! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Gregorio San Pedro! The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Anni Minnemäki and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Corven displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as San Pedro throws out the jab. San Pedro darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
It looks like Ashe Corven has been cut. Corven walks into a left hand. San Pedro wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Corven gets the takedown into side control. San Pedro is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. San Pedro manages to get back to half guard. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Corven thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed San Pedro's head. Corven has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. San Pedro trying to hold on to Corven's head to control him but Corven postures up.
San Pedro wants to get back to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Corven is working for a kimura but San Pedro is defending it quite comfortably.
San Pedro is looking for a sweep. Corven is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. San Pedro moves into full guard.
San Pedro is edging up against the ropes. He's using the ropes to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. San Pedro has a couple of punches blocked by Corven.
San Pedro tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. San Pedro's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. San Pedro listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Corven shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and San Pedro counters with a lovely shot to the body. This has been an exciting period of action! San Pedro ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Corven is breathing heavily. San Pedro lands with a shot to the body. San Pedro feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Corven sprawling to the canvas! Corven rolls over backwards and springs off the ropes and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can San Pedro finish him?!
Corven is rocked! San Pedro digs a good body shot into Corven's ribs. San Pedro steps in with a hook that catches Corven right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! San Pedro follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Corven looks absolutely devastated.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Gregorio San Pedro!
