JoMack has chosen sun doesnt rise as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kobayashi gets a takedown into half guard.
Kobayashi uses his free foot to push down on JoMack's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for JoMack.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kobayashi stands up from mount. Strange move.
Kobayashi shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has JoMack pinned against the cage. JoMack gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

and Kobayashi counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in JoMack's guard now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

JoMack is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Kobayashi looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but JoMack puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Kobayashi looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks JoMack with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Kobayashi works his way into full mount!

JoMack defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Kobayashi.
