Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
StClaire closes the distance and clinches up with Penderas, looking for a takedown. StClaire pushes Penderas against the cage but Penderas circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
StClaire takes a jab right on the kisser.
StClaire shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Penderas jabs at StClaire's body.
Penderas swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by StClaire.

StClaire walks into a left hand.
StClaire looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Penderas is fending him off so far but StClaire persists. Nope, Penderas circles away and we're back to standing.
StClaire fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Guillermo Penderas has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of George StClaire.

Penderas stalks StClaire and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into StClaire's face. StClaire staggers backwards, shaken.
Penderas lands an overhand right.
Penderas cracks StClaire with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Penderas connects with a body shot that sends StClaire's belly button to the back.
StClaire shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Penderas sprawls well. Penderas wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. StClaire gets slowly back to his feet.
StClaire looks gassed!
StClaire takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Penderas lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Penderas pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces StClaire back to the cage. Penderas follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
StClaire misses with a takedown attempt - Penderas sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Penderas scores with a punch to the head.

StClaire is rocked!

StClaire has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Penderas finds it's way round the side to connect with StClaire's head.
StClaire is still on wobbly legs! Can Penderas finish him?
Penderas Rushes StClaire and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! StClaire is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Penderas Piles on the pressure and StClaire crumples to the floor! This one is all over!
