Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Forrest Stephens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Georges Lamont (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Georges Lamont!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Dillan Fox and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lamont misses with a lunging right hand
and Stephens counters with a right hand to the body.
Lamont fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Lamont throws an off balance right hand
and Stephens counters with a head kick.
Lamont misses with a left hand
and Stephens counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Lamont's guard now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Lamont is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Lamont is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Lamont is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Stephens tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Stephens knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Lamont on the ground.

Stephens is looking for a sweep. Lamont is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Stephens is trying to stand back up but Lamont is controlling him

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
