The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cheese swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Cheese slaps away a takedown attempt from Belfort, before circling back to the center of the mat.

No joy there for Cheese, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Belfort closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Cheese did well to prevent Belfort getting side control.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Belfort has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Cheese defend it? Belfort steps over the head and cranks it - Cheese is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Belfort!
