Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nick Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frederik Kraus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Diaz comes to the ring accompanied by Kanye West- Amazing . Diaz has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Nick Diaz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Frederik Kraus! The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Radbod Blank and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kraus gets a double leg takedown into Diaz's guard. Diaz keeping moving, preventing Kraus from controlling successfully. Kraus working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Kraus lands a couple of elbows. Kraus makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Kraus throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Kraus pushing down on Diaz's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Diaz wants to improve his position but Kraus is controlling well.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Kraus trying to control from half guard but Diaz is working away. Kraus is trying to work for a kimura but Diaz is defending well.

Kraus is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Kraus is nestled in close to Diaz, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Kraus slips a nice elbow through Diaz's hands, connecting with Diaz's forehead. Kraus wants to lay and pray for a moment but Diaz keeps working. Diaz gets full guard. Kraus distracts Diaz with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Diaz escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Nick Diaz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Frederik Kraus. Kraus is looking to clinch. Kraus on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Diaz misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Nick Diaz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Diaz, as that shot connected.
Kraus changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Diaz tries to avoid it but Kraus manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Diaz to the ground. A punch combination from Diaz misses. Kraus fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Diaz avoids it really well and circles away. Horrible takedown by Kraus or perhaps it was just good defense by Diaz which made him look bad.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Diaz fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kraus manages to avoid it. Diaz will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Frederik Kraus dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Diaz throws a big shot that misses. Kraus lands with a hook. Diaz tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Kraus throws a head kick but Diaz moves out of range.
Kraus throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Diaz's waist but Diaz gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kraus off to one side. The crowd cheers as Diaz lands an impressive looking overhand right. Kraus doesn't seem phased though. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Kraus is defended easily by Diaz. Kraus circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Kraus works a leg free and moves into half guard. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
