Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mulligan McGee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Majak Daw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mulligan McGee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Majak Daw!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Johanna Lukiainen and Roosa Järviläinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGee shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Daw looks to throw the jab but McGee is out of range.
Daw takes a swing at McGee's ribcage but misses.
Daw avoids the body shot from McGee.
Daw just misses with a punch to the body.
Nice body punch from Daw.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
McGee uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Daw.
Daw tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but McGee was well out of range. Poor timing from Daw.

It looks like Majak Daw has been cut.
Daw shoots in looking for a takedown but McGee manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Daw's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Daw throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck McGee on the side of the head.

McGee fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

McGee with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Daw to score with a decent uppercut.
Mulligan McGee is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Daw closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming McGee to the mat! McGee manages to get full guard.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Majak Daw hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

McGee takes a swing at Daw's ribcage but misses.

Daw stuns McGee with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Daw uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before McGee has time to react.

McGee lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Daw lands a nice hook to McGee's body. McGee takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

McGee stuns Daw with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Daw cracks McGee with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

and McGee counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Daw is trying hard to land a takedown here. McGee sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Mulligan McGee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Majak Daw.
Daw lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

McGee uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Daw.
The crowd cheers as Daw lands an impressive looking overhand right. McGee doesn't seem phased though.

Daw cracks McGee with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Daw takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Daw uses good head movement to avoid the hook from McGee.
Daw looks to land a left hand but McGee moved out of range nicely.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
McGee misses with a looping right.
McGee lands a jab.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Mulligan McGee will probably get the nod.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Daw is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by McGee.

and Daw counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for McGee!
McGee is squirming around, avoiding Daw's attempts to control the action.

Daw is going oldschool here, as he tries to force McGee to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so McGee shrugs it off.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Daw is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Daw working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. McGee turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Daw off and cradles McGee's limp body as Daw celebrates with his corner.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Majak Daw!
