The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mason's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Mullin connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Mason scrambles back to his feet.

Mason gets control of Mullin's arms and successfully pulls guard. Mason will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Mason ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Mason no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Mason seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Mullin is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Mason.

Mullin connects with a good right hand that stumbles Mason. Mason circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Mullin shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Mason eats them both and turns towards Mullin to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Mason jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Mullin walks away with a smile on his face. Mason gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Mullin throws an overhand right that lands on Mason's shoulder, as Mason tries to avoid the shot.

And that's the end of the fight!
Craig Mason showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Mason has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
