Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Lester Hayes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Burkhart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Alex Burkhart! The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Burkhart looks to throw the jab but Hayes is out of range. Hayes shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Burkhart bucks up and throws Hayes to the side - he's got back to his feet. Great escape! Hayes shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Burkhart pinned against the cage. Burkhart gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Hayes shoots in for a double leg but Burkhart sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Burkhart thuds his right hand into Hayes's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Burkhart is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Hayes. Hayes will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lester Hayes. That's going to take a lot out of him. A choreographed right hand from Burkhart misses the target. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! A big left from Burkhart misses. Hayes avoids a punch combination nicely.

The fighters are pinned against the cage. Burkhart manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Burkhart misses the jab. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Good exchange - Burkhart coming out on top.
