The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Greysea rushes Sparks and presses him up against the cage.
Sparks is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Greysea gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Greysea controlling the action here for a moment.
Sparks wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Sparks is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Greysea pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Sparks manages to pull guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Greysea wanted to stand there but Sparks had control of the position.
Sparks is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Greysea frees his head nicely. Oh but Sparks has switched to an armbar! Greysea is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
