Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paulo Guido (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raian Baaden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Paulo Guido!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
15 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Raian Baaden!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Robert Twigg and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guido fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Baaden manages to avoid it.
Baaden shoots in and bounces Guido off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Baaden stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Guido swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Baaden trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Baaden accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Baaden throws and elbow that misses. Guido uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Baaden's guard. Nice move by Guido!
Baaden will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Baaden throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Baaden wants to sweep here but Guido controlling him for the moment.
Baaden lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Guido!
Guido tries to hold on but Baaden postures up.
Guido on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Guido tries to get out of the position.

Baaden lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Baaden is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Guido has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Guido!
Baaden wants to sweep here but Guido controlling him for the moment.
Baaden is striking off his back. Guido thinks nothing of it though and passes easily into half guard.

Baaden scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Guido doesn't seem bothered though.
Baaden drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
It looks like Raian Baaden has been cut.
Guido misses with a body kick.
Baaden fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Guido to the ground. Baaden is now in Guido's guard.
Baaden pushes down on Guido's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Baaden lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Baaden missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Guido wants to improve his position but Baaden is controlling well.
Baaden seems to be looking for submissions.
Guido is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Baaden is looking for a kimura here.
Guido avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Baaden.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Baaden is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Baaden thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Guido to regain full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Raian Baaden dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Raian Baaden's cut.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Guido has taken the fight to the clinch.
Guido misses with a punch to the body.
Baaden blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Baaden is trying to drag Guido to the mat but Guido just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Baaden goes for a takedown in the clinch but Guido prevents it.

Paulo Guido has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Raian Baaden.
Guido lands with a right to the head.
Guido cracks Baaden with a nice body shot.
Guido throws a punch but it's blocked by Baaden.
Baaden wants to get back to striking at distance but Guido won't allow it.
Baaden tries to score a body lock takedown but Guido shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Baaden is breathing heavily.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Guido stalling in the clinch but Baaden improves position.

Guido prevents a takedown attempt there.

Guido lands a left hand that snaps the head of Baaden backwards.
Guido throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Baaden is working for takedown but Guido is calmly controlling the position for now.
Guido lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Guido is trying to maintain a safe position but Baaden gets an underhook and turns Guido into the cage.

Baaden takes a knee to the side of the body.
Guido presses Baaden against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Guido is leaning against Baaden and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.

Guido tries a knee to the head but Baaden blocks it.
Guido lands a right hand that snaps the head of Baaden backwards.

Guido stalls.
A nice left hand lands by Guido.
Guido lands a big knee to the head and Baaden goes down! Guido pounces and finishes the fight with strikes! He jumps to his feet and celebrates with the crowd!
