Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tadayoshi Ishimaru (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Emerson Kinho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Emerson Kinho! The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Paulo Santos and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ishimaru avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Kinho fails with a takedown attempt. Kinho fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Ishimaru lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Ishimaru throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Kinho's head. Ishimaru lands a nice leg kick that just misses Kinho's sensitive parts. Ishimaru connects with a high kick. Kinho takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
The fight stays on the outside here - Kinho looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Ishimaru slaps away a takedown attempt from Kinho, before circling back to the center of the mat. That's one minute gone in the round. Kinho wants to clinch. Ishimaru explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Ishimaru connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Kinho shoots in looking for a takedown but Ishimaru manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Kinho's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Kinho shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ishimaru pinned against the cage. Ishimaru gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Ishimaru lands with a slapping head kick. Kinho wants to clinch. Tadayoshi Ishimaru is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. A solid leg kick lands there for Ishimaru.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kinho stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Ishimaru. Kinho swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Kinho misses with a takedown attempt - Ishimaru sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Ishimaru throws a nice head kick!

Kinho throws a sloppy head kick and Ishimaru counters with a head kick. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. A thudding body kick lands there by Ishimaru!

That's three minutes gone in the round. Ishimaru gets caught napping as Kinho dives in and scores a takedown. Ishimaru manages to retain guard. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Ishimaru working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Kinho has passed into half guard!
Kinho wants to control but Ishimaru is keeping him busy. Kinho might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Ishimaru kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Emerson Kinho hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Ishimaru connects with a high kick. Kinho is looking to chop away at Ishimaru's legs. Kinho doesn't manage to clinch there - Ishimaru circles away.
Ishimaru goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Ishimaru slips a jab and a cross from Kinho.
Kinho shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Ishimaru sprawls well. Ishimaru wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kinho gets slowly back to his feet. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kinho has a takedown stuffed. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Kinho looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tadayoshi Ishimaru dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Tadayoshi Ishimaru is winning the standup battle so far. Kinho looks for a takedown but Ishimaru sprawls well. Kinho shoots for a takedown but Ishimaru saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Kinho takes a head kick and keeps coming.

Ishimaru scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Kinho wants to clinch up but Ishimaru keeps it at a distance. Ishimaru lands a nice leg kick that just misses Kinho's sensitive parts. Ishimaru will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Ishimaru lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Kinho. Tadayoshi Ishimaru has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Emerson Kinho. Kinho takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Ishimaru cracks Kinho with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Ishimaru.

Ishimaru bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Ishimaru is looking to slow Kinho down with leg kicks. Ishimaru plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Ishimaru scoring well with a low kick there.

Ishimaru thumps Kinho with a low kick. Kinho on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Ishimaru. Ishimaru obviously looking to wear him down.

Ishimaru displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Kinho. Ishimaru lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Ishimaru lands a nice looking kick to the body. Kinho takes a step back to recover. Kinho has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Ishimaru. Ishimaru lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Kinho wants to clinch up but Ishimaru keeps it at a distance. Ishimaru moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Kinho is defended easily by Ishimaru. Kinho shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Ishimaru as he jumps to the side.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Good leg kick by Ishimaru there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Kinho fails with a takedown attempt. Ishimaru cracks the inside of Kinho's front leg. Ishimaru throws a nice inside leg kick. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Kinho tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Kinho lands an overhand right. Emerson Kinho has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Ishimaru throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
And that's the end of the fight! Tadayoshi Ishimaru showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Ishimaru, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
