Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Romek Glembocki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Larry Hayes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Glembocki shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Glembocki was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Hayes sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Glembocki not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

Glembocki seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Hayes does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Glembocki is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Hayes has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Hayes!

Glembocki has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hayes can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Glembocki looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Hayes has picked Glembocki up and slammed him! Glembocki can't keep hold of the triangle and Hayes manages to pass to side control!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Glembocki shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Glembocki showed some decent athleticism there.
Hayes is pressing down on Glembocki's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Hayes is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Hayes prevents Glembocki from improving his position.
Hayes stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Glembocki to get to his feet.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Glembocki changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Hayes looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Hayes has one of Glembocki's arms on lockdown, trying to prevent him from doing any damage.

Hayes is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Glembocki off and has taken his back!
Hayes is cranking Glembocki's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Glembocki! He's tightened the choke and Glembocki is tapping out!
