Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Cael Sanderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Tate (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanderson wants to slow Tate down by chopping away at his legs.
Sanderson fails with the takedown
and Tate counters with a stiff right hand.
Tate uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Sanderson.
Sanderson moves away from the strike by Tate.
Sanderson shoots in for a takedown but Tate shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Tate scores with a crisp jab that stopped Sanderson in his tracks.

It looks like Cael Sanderson has been cut.
Tate slaps away a takedown attempt from Sanderson, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Sanderson has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Sanderson there as he acknowledges the shot.
Tate throws out a loose jab but Sanderson uses good head movement to avoid it.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Tate is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Sanderson had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Sanderson is rocked!
Tate drops Sanderson with a huge uppercut! Sanderson drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Tate is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
