The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quintana works over Jones's head and body with a nice combination.
It looks like Gerald Jones has been cut.
Quintana gets caught flat footed, as Jones shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Jones looks gassed!
Jones drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Quintana manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Jones has Quintana in his guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Quintana postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Quintana wants to control from the top but Jones keeps moving.
Jones wants to stand up but Quintana is controlling him.
Quintana wants to get up but he can't break Jones's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Quintana cracks Jones with a solid left hand.
Quintana gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Quintana circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Jones drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Quintana follows Jones to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
