Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tony Bova (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anthony Stefaniak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bova comes to the cage accompanied by I came to bring the pain!. Tony Bova is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Steven Brown and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bova circles away from the clinch attempt
and Bova counters with a shoot takedown. Stefaniak fights it but they end up in guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bova accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Stefaniak avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Bova loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Bova in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Bova knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Stefaniak on the ground.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Bova's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Bova throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Stefaniak works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Stefaniak is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Bova is controlling him.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Bova postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Bova throws and elbow that misses. Stefaniak uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Bova's guard. Nice move by Stefaniak!
Bova is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Bova is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Stefaniak slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Bova keeping moving, preventing Stefaniak from controlling successfully.

Stefaniak pushes down on Bova's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Stefaniak wants to control but Bova is keeping him busy.
Stefaniak is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Stefaniak uses his free foot to push down on Bova's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Bova.
Stefaniak can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Bova is looking to escape.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Bova is bucking up trying to escape but Stefaniak cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Stefaniak swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Bova is now in Stefaniak's guard. A big mistake from Stefaniak there, giving up the dominant position!
Stefaniak has momentary wrist control but Bova slips an elbow through the middle.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Bova postures up in Stefaniak's guard and throws a big left but Stefaniak blocks it.
Bova trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Bova throws and elbow that misses. Stefaniak uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Bova's guard. Nice move by Stefaniak!
Bova looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Bova throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Stefaniak passes Bova's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Stefaniak has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Stefaniak has hold of an arm here, looking to extend it. He's committed to the armbar attempt here! Will he get it?! Yes! Bova is forced to tap!
