PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andrus Tiidus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rubert Kuminauha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kuminauha has chosen Celine Dion - Just Walk Away as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Tiidus is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kuminauha feints and as Tiidus raises his hands in defense, Kuminauha changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Tiidus is breathing heavily.
Kuminauha is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Kuminauha wants to pass the guard but Tiidus is keeping the position.
Kuminauha sitting in guard, not really doing much.

Let's hope that Kuminauha has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Kuminauha shoots in for a double leg but Tiidus sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

The referee asks Kuminauha politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Kuminauha prefers to stall for the moment though.

Rubert Kuminauha showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Tiidus misses with a jab, cross combination.
Kuminauha shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Kuminauha closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Tiidus gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!

Kuminauha jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Tiidus manages to avoid the submission attempt.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Rubert Kuminauha comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Kuminauha winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
