Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jamal Quik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dusko Niksa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Quik comes to the cage accompanied by Zro ft. Devin the Dude - Hit'em with the Mule (Ratatatat Remix). Niksa has chosen T.N.T as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Dusko Niksa told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Niksa misses with an uppercut
and Quik counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Quik swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Niksa lunges at Quik with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Quik's hand.
Jab by Niksa.
Quik on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Niksa throws a poor cross that misses
and Quik makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Quik connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Niksa stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Niksa moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Niksa gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Niksa showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Quik.
Quik scores with a spinning back kick!

Niksa misses with a straight left.
Niksa rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
enabling Quik to counter with a crisp jab.
Quik slips a jab and a cross from Niksa.
Niksa takes a swing at Quik's ribcage but misses.
A head kick misses from Quik.
Quik misses with a head kick.
Quik lands a leg kick that knocks Niksa off balance momentarily.
Quik scoring well with a low kick there.
Quik keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Niksa.

Niksa throws a body punch but Quik moves out of range.
A big left from Quik misses.
Niksa thows a body shot but no joy.

Niksa lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Quik circles away quickly and effectively.
Quik slips a jab from Niksa.
Quik swings for the body but Niksa moves out of range.
Niksa throws a lazy right hand but Quik sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Niksa slips under a jab from Quik.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Quik slips a straight right by Niksa.
Niksa chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Quik can pounce on him.
Niksa looks gassed!
Quik throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Niksa avoids the head kick by Quik.
Quik lands a big head kick that sends Niksa tumbling to the mat! Quik takes a step backwards and waves Niksa back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Niksa is rocked!
Niksa gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Quik points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Niksa wakes up just in time to hear Quik thank his coaches in the post fight interview.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jamal Quik!
